Problem
The client wanted to create an app to sell masalas, spices, herbs, and condiments in Mumbai and suburban areas.
The target audience of the app included the owners of Kirana stores, hotels, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. The client’s emphasis was that the users were able to place orders easily without many clicks. The user interface had to be clean and intuitive.
Solution
We noted down the list of essential features that the client was looking for in the app. Our UI/UX team created wireframes and user interface screens taking into consideration the client’s brand guidelines.
Once the UX/UI was in place, our backend team started with the admin panel development. The modules included category master, product master, coupon management, locations master, dashboard, etc.
Every other week the client was presented with the progress of the development work. After a few weeks, the admin panel was handed over to the client to review and product entry.
The app development team started converting the UI screens into actual app screens. The APIs shared by the backend team were integrated with the app. The development team shared the updated android apk to the client at regular intervals to capture their feedback.
In a few sprints, the app was completed and ready to be rolled out. Our team integrated the payment gateway to facilitate the collection of actual payments. After a complete check, the app was published on Google Play Store.
The technology stack used by our team for project implementation was:
UI/UX: AdobeXD
Backend: Node.js
Mobile App: Flutter
Database: PostgreSQL
