Introduction

Reality Tours & Travel was founded in 2005 by Chris Way and Krishna Pujari with a bold vision- to change perceptions about slums through educational tours in Dharavi, one of Asia’s largest slums. From the start, 80% of the post-tax profits were reinvested into local development projects, setting a strong foundation for socially responsible tourism.

What began as a single tour in Mumbai has grown into a well-known travel company offering meaningful experiences across several Indian cities. Reality Tours focuses on real people, authentic stories, and creating a positive impact in the communities it touches.

They now operate several popular tours, including:

  • Mumbai Slum Tour (Dharavi)

  • Delhi Slum Tour (Sanjay Colony)

  • Street Food Tours in cities like Mumbai and Delhi

Their target market is mainly from the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. These travelers want to see India differently. They seek immersive, offbeat experiences that support local communities.

In 2016, we partnered with Reality Tours to build their first SEO-friendly website. It helped them grow visibility and attract more global tourists. In 2024, we teamed up again to revamp the website and eventually to improve their website’s SEO.

Website Audit and Competitor Research
